Our mission is to teach kids the importance of fitness and health. We want to set the foundation for kids to help them develop a passion for fitness which will encourage good health throughout adulthood. We also want to show kids that being healthy and fit is fun!
What is PSKC Crossfit Kids?:
Our program is geared toward making kids into better athletes, students, and people. PSKC Crossfit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that helps kids instill a lifelong love for fitness. Kids participate in workouts that are constantly varied involve functional movements in order to deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive, general , and scaleable for any participant at any level. This means that no two workouts are the same, so kids stay excited about participating.
Our kids learn about exercise, nutrition, and we actively incorporate cognitive development tools all at the same time. Some workouts involve school work and problem solving to help their cognitive development needs. Most importantly, kids learn the importance of teamwork and how to be a great teammate.
What are functional movements?
The functional movements involve exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play- pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. All movements are taught safely under the close supervision of thoroughly trained Crossfit Kids Trainers. Our workouts will increase competence in 10 fitness domains: Cardiovascular and Respiratory Endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy which in time will make kids into more of a well-rounded athlete.

PSKC CrossFit Kids Coaches:
Your kids are led by Monica Sa and Kendra Coleman. Mo and Kendra are both certified teachers at local schools in the area. They have both completed the Crossfit Kids Trainer Course and have a passion to help shape kids into great human beings. They love to make kids healthier while exercising and having fun.
